The Lesser of Two Terrorists

On the one hand, Morrissey says, “You have to be a terrorist in order to be the President” and “it doesn’t really matter in a way who wins the election.”

But on the other hand, the singer endorses Barack Obama to be president.

Why all the passion for Obama? The Illinois senator hasn’t suggested any plans to dismantle America’s terror apparatus if elected president.

Either Morrissey finds it acceptable endorsing a “terrorist” for President, based on his own analysis of the selection process for world leaders, or he’s already backtracking on his not-so-firm conviction that it doesn’t matter who wins the election because the results are always the same.
