Genocide is the word that should be underscored in applauding this piece by Mark.  In that the Israelis are implementing their “final solution” with greater ferocity each day, one must take in the recent assassination of Yassin with singular horror; among other horrific aspects to be discussed, we must talk about how such pro-active violence serves Israeli’s plans for removing Palestinians forever.  Sharon and his followers, of course, want the violence to escalate so that they can --in responding to the predicatable responses by Palestinians-- have additional “reasons” for committing more atrocities.  With President Bush chiming in with his approval of what the Israelis are doing --"The U.S. administration...says Yassin was ‘involved’ in terrorist planning."-- Americans must now choose which side they are on.  One can no longer sit by and not take an active role in undermining U.S. efforts to aid Israel in their abominations anymore than one could have sat silently by while the Nazis did away with the “undesirables” of WWII Germany.  I trust all readers and writers will find a way --whether it is in the public eye or not, whether it is in solidarity with others or not-- to be part of a kind of “White Rose” movement w/i America, a movement designed to stop this inhumane Machine of ours.  Blessings, The Ox
