I am looking forward to a Bush victory so all the Kerryuppies stay angry and we can use their SUVs for shelter. I’m curious why there hasn’t been talk of a massive voting day shut down. A little acid on a touchscreen goes a long way.

Hmm, Kerry’s “Bush-Lite”, well, well, I think you’ve just given the people a reason to vote: KERRY IS BETTER THAN BUSH!
Half a loaf is better than none.

First off, let me start by saying: F*** KERRY.
We all know that he ain’t shit but the JFK 2 to match Reagan 3. BUT, there is no way anyone can believe that he would be just as bad as Bush. For one, he can form a complete sentence. Two, although he hasn’t been extremely clear about it, Kerry at least has some kind of idea for an exit strategy, which is different than suggesting indefinate stay. I mean, it’s much better to have statements to hold someone accountable to, than to not. Bush doesn’t even have any fake ass promises to keep.
Also, and most notably, as the popular document that has celebrity progressive edorsement asking swing-state voters to support Kerry suggests, there ARE substantial differences in domestic policy. Imagine being drafted to serve in the military. Imagine serving in the military and then getting a pay cut. Imagine being without a job after your 90 days of unemployment is up. Imagine being without healthcare and having a family. Imagine being a woman in need of an abortion. Go to Planned Parenthood and see what they think about Bush vs. Kerry. They’ve got shit posted everywhere because they’ve seen quite a few changes in the last 4 years. For anyone who thinks there’s NO difference between Bush and Kerry I suggest reading Chomsky’s statement about the implication that there’s no difference in the two. I was totally thrown off when I first heard the list of people who signed the thing, but since we all know that Bush is so damn terrible, and that he’s got alot of middle America by the balls of fear, they’re completely right. No, the D’s shouldn’t be f***ing with Nader so bad. Yes, he should be on the ballot in 50 states and he should’ve been allowed to to debate those other assholes. I support the guy, but we all know he wasn’t going to win anyway.Moore was definately on some bullshit when he said that maybe we can change Kerry. Of course we can’t, He’s a f***er and we all know it. And if he gets elected he’ll be even more responsible for serving the interests of America rather than Americans than he was in the senate. Another one of Moore’s f***-ups: donating thou$ands to the DNC. Like they really needed the shit.
How much more divided can the Left get?

I don’t have to like John Kerry nor dislike him. I just don’t trust him. Same goes for George Bush. I’ve made up mind not to vote for either Bush or Kerry.
Don’t have to if I don’t want to vote for either one.
I’ll sleep better.
Something is seriously wrong with this country.
It wouldn’t surprise me if bombs go off at polling places.
This is a fubar if there ever was one.
We’ve spent enough money on war. Good God Almighty.
George Bush hasn’t a snowball’s chance in hell to make it to heaven. He’s running for President, though. Funny

Bush nor Kerry make the decisions, the Global Monetocracy makes the decisions. Attention paid to this “election” (think Scooby Doo pronunciation) is sheer smokescreen. Until we utilize systems thinking, we will be putting bandaids on broken arms. See: Gaian Democracies by Madron and Jopling, you won’t be disappointed.
PS, it can be argued that Bush will be better in a sense precisely because Kerry CAN complete a sentence. Thus, legitimacy is restored to the Global Suicide Economy.

Get ‘em Kurt! Michael Moore seems decent sort but remains a political impresario lacking theoretical rigor. The NATO Supreme Allied Commander contrasted with GW’s poor military record; so Michael Moore went for the spectacle. The fact is there are reasonable arguments for radicals of any stripe to vote in any way. One can vote for Kerry, arguing Bushism is close kin to fascism and that’s always worth voting against, even if the result is a President beholden to a slightly lesser Bushism. One might vote for Bush and argue that a victory for Bushism may escalate extant social conflicts to their flashpoints, facilitating various rebellions, uprisings or, at the very least, some sort of mass American social protest. One can confidently argue that voting for a third party absolves one of any responsibility for the less than bright political future ahead. So we are looking at Bush, Bush-Lite, a few other products (Bush-Jolt is out there somewhere in KKK-land; we’ve got a few spring waters and fruit juices to choose from). Like Kurt, I think the left needs to form a punchy third party. Nevertheless, if we look at things coldbloodedly, the democratic process we are talking about here is a far cry from true democracy. We’re doomed because our ability to affect policy electorally is negligible as things stand today. As Tony Cliff of the SWP put it: “The man and woman in the street are expected to vote in parliamentary elections once in five or four years, but leave the rest to others. If a person votes ten times in his life, he spends, let us say, 30 minutes in a democratic exercise.”
