  1. Chris Cook is an excellent interviewer, with a deep understanding of U.S. society and politics. I recommend anybody who hasn’t listened to his show to tune in at http://cfuv.uvic.ca from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern time every Monday.

    Cook’s radio style is superior to the highly paid on-air “talent” of Air America radio, e.g. Al Franken and Jeneane Garafolo. And there’s more substance to his shows than the annoyingly repetitive anti-Bush and anti-Republican fare offered on a daily basis on Air America.

    I listen to Democracy Now, via the Internet, because we can’t get such programs, via radio or television, where I live.
