Don’t Believe the Hype: Terrorist Warnings Just Another Way Bush Will Steal Election

The Bush Administration is certainly in the business of keeping people fearful. They do that both to get domestic gains and internationally so they can take over countries. It is quite pitiful, although understandable for reasons involving intentional distortion, that virtually nobody in the mainstream media has had the nerve to say something like, “whether or not Bush believe Saddam had weapons of mass destruction is a distraction. The real issue is that there is no evidence suggesting and no reason to believe that Bush and his administration thought Saddam was a threat to the United States using the standard definition of ‘threat.’ (Every government in the world would stand at least some chance at killing at least a few people in the U.S. of A if they wanted to give it a whirl.)”The “genius” of these terror warnings and preemptive invasions is that if nothing happens, the Bush Administration can claim it is because of what they did.

The question on the CNN website yesterday was something like “If you worked in one of the buildings mentioned for terrorist atttack, would you go to work today?” Answer: Almost 80% of the 100,000 voting said “Yes.” So much for that. I personally like Tom Ridge, but Bush is using him politically.
