Vermont Vets Support Ward Churchill Statement

Ms. Jackowski,
Before I make my brief statement let me state that I am a three times wounded Vietnam Veteran and a member of the Lumbee-Cheraw Tribe.
This veterans group, apparently, does not know what most Indian people do about Mr. Churchill - that he is not an Indian person and has used all these emotional, but insincere, outbursts about American Indians and American Indian children to further his own agenda as a “perceived” authority on, an avocate for and as a member of the American Indian community. He has done so expressly to reap the rewards of a American Indian writer, scholar and tenured professor in American Indian Studies.
He has already been proven to have deceived everyone when he stated that he belonged to an American Indian tribe and the university at which he works has confirmed that he has lied in his writings on American Indians.
Pretty words, yes. But very empty considering the source.

Jimmy…
Thank you for your comments.I assure that the members of VFP, Chapter 88 are well informed about Ward Churchill. Some members have spent time face-to-face discussing issues with him.
Your criticism is an ad hominem attack that is not shared by all. The Colorado AIM site contains a petition in support of Churchill.
Do you disagree with the positions that Churchill takes on important issues?

there’s so many accounts about how long-hair Ward is not an injun.
what a phony. this guy is the sterreotypical professor who is in the academic business just to get laid by young broads 30 yrs younger than he is. this injun should be castated.
