From a strictly machiavellian standpoint Kerry cleaned his clock by making him mention his fealty to China repeatedly in the same five minute period as not handing is foreign policy decisions to other countries. So he did a good job embarassing Bush.
This notwithstanding, the debate showed not even a coke versus pepsi argument, and Kerry refused to score an easy point by saying “yes they died for a lie.” I still support Nader because his existence allows Kerry to move to a point where Martin Peretz, in the New Republic is horrified that Michael Moore with his “particular animus to Israel” and his followers just may have influence on Kerry, thus he is voting for Bush.
