  1. Excellent article, Adam. In a prefect world, or a far less mean-spirited one anyway, you wouldn’t be going through this bullshit, and grandmas wouldn’t be choosing between eating and taking medication whole the Pentagon admits it “lost” billions of dollars.

Don’t worry - given all the faith based stuff at the NIH now, they’d probably give you snakes to handle to cure you.  I’m not kidding.  As shady as the NIH has always been, even the pharmeceutical lobby thinks they’ve gone too far towards pseudo-science.  I read medical journalis - as some may know, I am in remission from cancer a few years back and like to keep aware of healthcare innovations.  As an example of how pseudo-faith based religous the NIH spends billions for “Abstinene only” programs an faith based programs (i.e. Christian - Jewish and Muslim, let alone Pagan groups that apply for grants get squat,) a whole bunch on malfunctioning penises (Viagra, etc.) but nothing on AIDS.  The global gag rule on discussing faily planning has actually caused an extreme rise in abortions.
