Originating in MI myself, Micah, I can relate to your brand of MI humor (we need it to survive the long winters eh). Hilarious piece, and yes, I’m sure President Bush was right at home in Perverse City where the natives will be voting in favor of the fetus and against the marauding hordes threatening to invade Lake MI’s shores…
Actually, isn’t there a case to be made that Kerry is farther right on some issues than Bushit? Also, Bush as prez exposes what a TOTAL FRAUD our political system is, more clearly than a slippery liberal. How about this idea, Kerry the lackluster candidate was invented by Rove et al., how else can you explain such a horrible candidate?
Probably all conjectural nonsense, pardon me…

Rick
I suspect the Democrats are so disunited on what they want and so confused that Kerry got the nomination on the basis of luck and his tenure in the senate.
As far as Kerry being to the right of Bush, my belief is that their stated politics are so similar and their drive for electoral victory is so great that circumstances play a far greater role in how they (would) govern than anything they “believe.”

Micah...we can only hope that, in good old-definition comedy style, there are many circumstances for which to play Kerry will have. Unfortunately, in comedy the protagonist is the same after as he was before. So...we need non-stop circumstances, vicissitudes and other hurdles to success. Perhaps his wife is the first, eh?

Before making up your mind, visit this site. It features a very moving screen show set to music. The site also includes some concise, clearcut information, including a link to the senate’s own economic charts. Those are very eye opening.

This reads like mis-information. A Republican posing as undecided. At best a Republican looking for re-assurance, not one actually thinking about why he is voting one way or another.
This voter is not thinking, when he sees “signs” such as a bald eagle landing on a flag pole. What imagary.! “We’re heading in the right direction.” ??? What’s that about. And does he pay attention to chicken guts too?
Did anyone notice he didn’t mention anything that President Bush said that was of any substance?
