The Controlled Burn of Neo Khan

People like Justin Raimondo tend to exagerate the importance of “neo-cons” while others apply the term to anyone in favor of at least the international aspects of the “war on terror.” And I certainly agree with Jordy that there are bigger factors at work than an ideology, but I don’t think “capitalism” is in any way at odds with the eno-cons. Their outlook can fit easily within the acceptable boundaries of the economic and political systems of the United States.

I certainly don’t mean to suggest that the neocons are anticapitalist, nor that capitalism is anti-neocon. What I do mean to say is that any analysis that blames “ideologists” does not get that ideologists are simply very brainwashed cultural workers. I am speaking out against the vulgar analysis of Raimundo and others - while looking at who the Neocons really are by providing a politico-psychological portrait of one.

OK, we are in agreement on that about how the workings of a system are in play.
