  2. Your exclamatory sentence is “Greek” to me, but...surely you know that “Democracy” first emerged in Africa, not in Athens...as taught in American (and Greek?) schools, yes?

By the way, I highly recommend that all readers tune in to Leilla Matsui’s articles...which often appear on http://www.dissidentvoice.org and http://www.zmag.org/weluser.htm.  Truly disappointing that there’s so little response to this ditty, Kim Petersen’s piece notwithstanding.  Librarian Ox
