Undoing the Latches

Beautiful style. This reminds me of a professor I had who taught that people tend to not tune into a station on tv that might undermine fundamental beliefs. That if they did, inadvertently, they’d quickly switch to another that didn’t threaten their ground of being. That...if somehow they were exposed to info that made things crumble for them...they’d soon enough...forget. He explained that this was how pain worked with us, how we could deal with it. How we maintain the particular balance we’ve chosen. I’d like to know what other PA readers think about this “confirmation bias” business, the imagery here. Very interested, Oxy
