What can the progressive community do? I do not agree that there are no easy answers. One easy thing to do --that should be done-- is to vote for Nader or Peltier. What’s so difficult about that? Why is the starting point the entirely negative attitude that Ralph, say, couldn’t garner enough votes to win or make a significant impact? What’s the basis for anyone --like NPR, with their WalMart and Microsoft sponsors on board-- suggesting that only Kerry or Bush could win? I’m thrilled that Abu has put Chomsky’s “wishful thinking” to bed; Kerry, given the op that Bush has had, would be every bit as much of a war criminal as Clinton or Bush ever were.
