  1. While there certainly is a noticeable difference in WHAT gets reported on by the conventional and unconventional media (my preferred descriptors), that difference is sometimes less noticeable when it comes to HOW the news is reported.

    News is fact, not opinion.  Yet I see opinion being reported as fact quite liberally (pun intended) at both ends of the news reporting spectrum.

    Objectivity isn’t only about covering all the pieces to a factual puzzle.  It’s also about HOW you describe the pieces that you’re reporting on.
