I’m with Colorado Governor Bill Owens, who says taxpayers shouldn’t have to subsidize “outrageous and insupportable” views that defy the facts of history. Therefore, before Churchill is made to quit his job, let’s see the entire punditocracy resign en masse for its constant falsifications and outright glorification of U.S. mass murderers like Henry Kissinger, Richard Nixon, Dick Cheney, Bill Clinton, George Bush, Jimmy Carter, Zbigniew Brzezinksi, Caspar Weinberger, John Negroponte, Donald Rumsfeld, Elliott Abrams, Jeane Kirkpatrick, Madeleine Albright, etc. etc.

Pundits, of course, are subsidized by the public through advertising revenue, which is what allows them access to mass audiences in the first place. This money is ultimately derived from the people via consumer purchases, not all of which are avoidable. Thus, we are forced to subsidize obnoxious views against our will.
