Yes, Gregor, Brooks is appalling, and I think we should use the word “pimp” for him and his ilk rather than trying to recast the words “whore” and “prostitute.” “Pressitute” was used somewhere, but it doesn’t really convey the depth of contempt I want such a word to convey.

Can anyone respond to my conflict. I’m so hoping Judith Miller will go to jail (oh please, oh please, oh please), but don’t want to support the attack on the right of journalists to protect their sources that her doing so would reflect. Help. Oh wait, maybe I can get around it by saying she’s not really a journalist, at least not in any sense of the word I accept, so she has no right to keep her source secret. Naw, that makes me as bad as the spinners elsewhere. Any suggestions?
