Oh Great Marxists, God will bless you and keep you. There is really nothing to worry about. Thank God for Marxism, too. The world would rather leave behind the Marxists along with the Republicans and Democrats. Thanks

Great article by Jordy Cummings. Pressaction definitely needs more humor in the onion.com vein.

That was certainly not meant to be funny except at certain points....
Was that sarcastic? I am being serious....I was trying to be quite sincere.

I’m pretty sure that Louis Proyect is being sarcastic here.As for Multitude itself, I have less than a 130 pages into it, but I am impressed in a lot ways. Still, as was the case with Empire, there are quite a few flaws. To their credit, Hardt and Negri do recognize that old models seem inconceivable now. Still I can’t help but suspect that they are following in the tradition of a lot of Marxists who assume that an answer must be apparent.

Thats why I called it pop-profound. There is nothing totally deep, so to speak, about Hardt and Negri. They are geek-inspirational speakers, nerdy Eldridge Cleavers....not real theorists. Once one understands that, their work is for enjoyment, not depth. “Theory is the new novel’ says Eagleton… You need the frame of ref. in the first place.
